Tyler Sheridan has been in ministry for the past decade, working with various churches and para-church organizations, all focused on youth ministry to middle and high school students. Tyler started out his journey working for a local church overseeing their student and worship ministry, which helped affirm in him his life calling to vocational ministry. Taking up the call to leadership in ministry, he graduated with his degree in pastoral ministry and Biblical studies through the Master of Divinity program at Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2016. Simultaneously, the Lord led Tyler to his work with Youth for Christ, where he started reaching lost and un-church students in South Florida in an effort to share the Gospel with them and plug them into the local church.

During his time with YFC, Tyler returned to his hometown of Saint Augustine, FL, where he co-founded a new chapter of Youth for Christ there in Jacksonville/St. Aug area. An eight-year commitment with YFC in the greater Jacksonville area provided Tyler with many different opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus in local schools, communities, and churches as the Lord continued to develop his skills and role within the organization’s leadership. During his time, Tyler served in various roles as the Campus Life Director, Area Director, and Executive Director as opportunities to expand the ministry emerged. As the Lord led him to a season of closure with Youth for Christ, God provided Tyler with a continued affirmation of aspiration to Gospel outreach in the area.

Tyler’s continued ministry with Ripe for Harvest is to faithfully steward his calling to the Great Commission. His focus is to evangelize to lost teens, in partnership with the local church, and engage them in Biblical discipleship where they may become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ who are committed to following after Christ in faith and truth. This mission is to go where students are and bring them the central message of the Gospel, in its fullness, with a dedication to the importance of Biblically attested doctrine and theology.
