Musa and Waheedah run the Emerge Center in the Kingdom of Eswatini, Africa. Emerge aims at identifying those most in need and investing in their skills and character by linking individuals and groups with qualified professionals. With a population of just over 1.2 million, economic poverty is prevalent in the country and the rate of HIV/AIDS is the highest in the world, leaving many children orphaned or vulnerable. 54% of the population are younger than 24 years old. Having worked in abuse centers, rehabs, care points, and pastoring a church in the largest orphanage in Eswatini with over 350+ children in the restored town of Bulembu, the Masinga’s are focused on reaching those who have previously been rejected by society by providing professional training, mentoring and coaching through Emerge. The couple also has two wonderful children, Elie and BK.
