Having served in both parachurch and local church ministry for forty years, Tom and Ann have a passion for helping develop the next generation of leaders for the next generation of churches. Guided by that desire, Tom and Ann are focused on helping to develop church planters and their wives for the North American and international context. Using their ministry platform, The Reformed Church Planter, they help recruit, assess, train, coach, and resource church planting couples during the early years of establishing new churches.
Currently, they are coaching about a half dozen church planters with the Florida Presbytery of the Associate Reformed Church, developing materials and training for church planters, and coaching about another half-dozen planters in different locations around the world. They hope to develop a fully online training and resourcing community for church planters focused on starting presbyterian and reformed churches. These churches emphasize many of the great pillars of the Reformation, such as making disciples of all nations, the priesthood of all believers, fidelity to the Word of God, and the importance of elders who truly shepherd the flock. Tom and Ann have four grown and married sons and three granddaughters. They make their home in Charlotte, North Carolina.
