Glen works with JAARS (Jungle Aviation and Relay Service) to develop and provide safer solutions for missionaries who travel by water to reach isolated language communities in remote areas of the world. At times that can be the Amazon, or Congo rivers, and other times that’s off-shore reaching islands in places like New Guinea or the Philippines. He and Susan are based out of Wilmington NC, a coastal city where they can rub shoulders with the maritime community. Glen also travels overseas as needed, teaching “water travel safety” and for involvement with special transportation needs projects. Recently Glen has also been engaged with recruitment for the Land and Sea travel side of JAARS.
What drives Glen is the desire to see every language group have access to God’s Word in their own mother tongue in his lifetime! Having grown up in Peru and also having served JAARS in Kenya and Brazil for extended periods, Glen has witnessed firsthand the change that comes when the Word of God reaches these remote language groups. He believes it’s truly the only thing that can bring lasting change to people’s hearts and change their eternal destiny! Glen and his wife Susan have five grown children.
