Gene and Patty serve in ministry to incarcerated youth and adults with a primary focus at Maricopa County jails in Phoenix, Arizona (the third largest jail in the USA). Gene provides weekly religious services for incarcerated youth and one-to-one Christian counseling to incarcerated men.
Patty serves as a Clinical Healthcare Registered Nurse and volunteers in various healthcare-related ministries. Gene and Patty have served on staff at the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections and at local churches. We have volunteered in ministry both before and throughout our 44-year marriage.
Patty worked in Southern California Hospitals, as well as with the homeless and indigent at the Mental Health Association of Orange County, CA. (MHA). Gene serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Arizona Christian University.
Gene and Patty have been married for 44 years and are actively involved with their four adult children and seven grandchildren. Patty holds an Associate of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and is working toward her master’s in science. Gene holds a master’s degree in biblical studies, is an ordained minister, and a licensed Chaplain.
