Ciprian and Eve met in the Middle East in 2012, where they were both working with Sorani Kurds. Ciprian taught singing at the local State University, transcribed Christian songs, and worked in church planting. Eve assisted in Scripture-based trauma healing groups and Bible translation projects. They got married in N. Iraq in 2016. In 2017, God blessed them with a baby girl, Arame (which means comfort).
Very soon after that, they moved to Romania to work among the Silversmith Gypsies (Ciprian’s people). By the grace of God, they were able to plant a church in Alexandria, Romania, where his grandparents were from. Because their daughter, Arame, has Down syndrome, they are currently residing in the United States, where she gets excellent treatment. In addition to Arame, they have been blessed in 2020 with their second daughter, Fiorinna, and in 2021 with their son, Yohanan.
After graduating with a degree in Pastoral Theology from the Baptist Institute of Bucharest in 2022 and an Associate’s in Theological Studies from the Berkshire Institute for Christian Studies in 2023, Ciprian was appointed interim pastor at the First Congregational Church of Blandford, Massachusetts. The contract will end in Dec. 2025, after which the Dromas are praying and hoping they will be able to return to the Middle East to work among Sorani Kurds. Ciprian plans to continue the much-needed church music ministry by writing Kurdish Christian songs and teaching music. Eve hopes to start a ministry support group to help equip parents for their loved ones who have Down syndrome.
