We serve the Lord in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in the northeastern part of Thailand. We work closely with TLC Church, a Thai Church, near Chiang Mai University. On Tuesday-Friday evenings we run “Coffee-Talk”, a chance for Thais (currently ages 10 to 60), and especially Chiang Mia University students, to learn and practice speaking English in a fun atmosphere and we also share our Christian faith with them at the TLC Café. We teach children’s church on Sundays at TLC and hope to start a youth group for area youth in 2020. We sponsor and assist in the operation of Makarios Bookshop and library at TLC Church which offers both Thai and English Christian books, movies, music, and clothing. We work with and support Karen Refugees in Pala-U, near our former home in Hua Hin, Thailand and help conduct a large Children’s Christian Camp in March each year. We also teach English and sewing, cooking, and craft-making to young women who have been rescued from human trafficking. All our projects are funded by your help and support at no cost to TLC Church or the people we work with.
