Sotres, Alberto & Joyce #20277

Alberto and Joyce Sotres serve the church in Mexico, especially those churches with a serious commitment to children.  We support them through programs and classes designed to train Sunday School teachers and children’s workers. We train these teachers to serve children and form disciples of Christ. We also work with children in marginalized areas of Mexico: Landfill (dump) communities, high poverty zones, in under-served communities where children and families require extra support, such as help with school supplies, and in some cases, tutoring, in order to attend school. Our children’s workers and volunteers organize Bible Clubs, VBS and special programs and outings for them as well.  We receive donations in kind from various companies that help us put them in the hands of those most in need. We promote Bible study and reading through the Forum of Bible Agencies where Alberto is the National Coordinator.
