God called our family to the South Pacific, to the islands of Vanuatu. We’ve been here since April 2025. Ricky serves the local church by working for the Vanuatu Bible Translation Desk. He has helped create a website, social media presence, fundraising platform, and media content for the new department. Vanuatu is the most linguistically diverse nation in the world. Many languages still need significant Bible translation help; funds and awareness are two primary issues affecting progress. The family has also become mentors for a group of young boys. Our ultimate vocation is to be a vessel through which God shows his love for the people of Vanuatu. New opportunities for cultivating flourishing and alleviating poverty are being developed, which is exciting. Aidan homeschools the children and oversees a growing network of relationships, connections, and activities. Our kids love Vanuatu and have made many friends through church, sports, language learning, and the neighborhood. We’re expecting a new little addition in April 2026.
