April serves many different people groups, languages, and cultures in Central America. Many of the people she serves live at or below poverty level. April is passionate about getting God’s Word into the hands of those who find the Bible cost-prohibitive or unavailable.
So far, she has distributed over 700 Bibles. Many are unique and hard to find in some of the languages, among which are the Mayan languages. Her goal is to provide the Word of God in every heart language in Central America, (mainly in Belize), which she believes is essential for a true understanding of the Gospel. Because so many of those she serves lack electricity, cell phones, or access to the internet, paper Bibles remain essential.
April is constantly sourcing Bibles from throughout the United States and other countries, as well as traveling, distributing Bibles, teaching Bible literacy, and speaking in schools and churches, sharing the life-giving Word of God. Oftentimes she shares the Word of God, on the road at gas stations, hotels and to anyone the Lord leads her to speak with.
Alongside her Bible distribution, she works with mission groups on various projects. Among these ministries, she recently helped to provide free eyeglasses. She finds it a special blessing to pray with individuals for salvation and witness people using their new prescription glasses to read the Word of God.
